UD Catapult started its operation in 2024 as the technology, innovation, and business development organization fully owned by the University of Debrecen. Our company is committed to directing the results of university research and knowledge toward economic and social utilization.
For over 20 years, research and innovation commercialization activities, including business, communication, and project management tasks related to knowledge transfer, have been underway at the University of Debrecen, conducted through a system encompassing multiple internal university units and external organizations. The UD Catapult Nonprofit Ltd. joined this continuously developing innovation ecosystem, contributing through its business development activities and corporate relationships to the economic and social utilization of university research and knowledge. Its primary objective is the utilization and commercialization of university knowledge.
